According to Baltimore, Maryland’s Johns Hopkins University, the global coronavirus tally has reached 185 million worldwide, while the death toll from the pandemic has topped 4 million.
The list of the most affected nations includes the United States, India, and Brazil. The US has confirmed over 33.7 million cases so far, and a death toll of 606,000. Next is India, which is recovering from a major pandemic outbreak this spring, and has reported 30.6 million cases and over 404,000 deaths. At the same time, Brazil has registered around 18.9 million cases and the second-highest death toll in the world – around 528,500 fatalities.
