The global death toll from COVID-19 has surpassed 4.52 million and over 204.6 million cases of the virus have been registered, according to Johns Hopkins University.
The United States has the highest death toll and overall coronavirus tally, with 36.1 million infected and 618,000 fatalities. It is followed by India (32 million cases, 429,000 deaths) and Brazil (20.2 million cases and a death toll of over 565,000).
