Pakistan reported record daily COVID-19 deaths of 141 in a single day almost four months after the global pandemic.
According to the Coronavirus Statistics website (covid.gov.pk) in Pakistan, 61,410 coronavirus tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, of which 4,199 were tested positive with the virus while 141 people died.
According to the official portal, 141 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Pakistan are the highest in a single day in the last four months.
Earlier, on May 3, 161 people died in the country from the deadly pandemic.
The positivity rate in the country during the last 24 hours was 6.83%.
The number of deaths in the country has reached 25,220 and the total number of cases has reached 1,135,858.
In addition, during the last 24 hours, 3915 patients have recovered across the country, after which the total number of those who have recovered has reached 1,019,434 while the number of active cases is 91,204.
